The Sausalito Art Festival is produced by the Sausalito Art Festival Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 organization. All proceeds are allocated to local non-profits via the Leonard Kaprielian Community Grants and to students whose focus is in the Arts, via the Foundation's Scholarship program.

Be sure to submit all forms, documents, and payments by the deadlines.
Please note: all 2010 forms may be filled out online. Please follow these steps:
- Save the forms to your desktop/computer
- Fill in the applicable fields and use the digital signature feature by following the prompts
- Re-save the form
- Attach the completed form to an email addressed to apply@sausalitoartfestival.org
- You are also free to print out the forms, complete and mail them, or fax to 415.331.1340

Artist Booth Set-Up:
We can not express how important it is to have a booth display of the highest quality and creativity. Your display is the face of the Sausalito Art Festival and creates a long lasting impression for attendees, and your customers.

Your Artist Statement MUST be visible in your Booth. It would be a good idea to have it in a simple inexpensive frame.

Weather in Sausalito:
Late September weather in Sausalito may be hot and sunny during the day, and cool and foggy at night. In addition, it may also be quite cool and foggy first thing in the morning. Therefore, we recommend Artists dress in layers and bring the following items for their comfort:

Helpful Hints About the SAF
Gala Preview Party Information:
The Sausalito Art Festival Preview party takes place on Friday, September 3rd.
Artists are required to be set-up and staffing their booths from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. The Preview Party is the time when many consistent Art buyers from the greater Marin area come to meet the Artists and purchase items. This is a great way for you to make a personal connection and offer a true preview of your art.
At 9:00pm, Artists are invited to partake in the SAF Gala Preview Party festivities.
Each Artist receives (1) one complimentary ticket for their use.
Attire for the event is optional black tie. However, we do encourage everyone to dress for a gala social event. Remember, it can get quite cool at night, so layers are best!
SAF Preview Party Ticket Order Forms and pricing information will be sent out via email by June 11, 2010.
Artist Parking:
Artists receive FREE parking in the Lot M which is located within walking distance from the SAF site.
If you have an oversized vehicle and/or trailer please call the office at 415.332.3555 to make alternate arrangements.
Artist Hospitality Tent:
The SAF Volunteer Captain, Sean Saylor owner of Saylor’s Restaurant & Bar, keeps our Artists and VIPs sustained throughout the weekend with daily continental breakfast items, hot lunch, snacks throughout the day, as well as live music.
The Artist Hospitality tent is located outside the gated area on the North East Corner of the SAF grounds, and looks out over Richmond Bay.

- Sunday Hours: 8:00AM - 4:00PM
- Monday Hours: 8:00AM - 3:00PM
Lunch is served daily between the hours of 11:00AM and 2:00PM. Each Artist will be assigned a lunch time.
Access to the Hospitality Tent is granted to those wearing their Artist or Booth Assistant Badge.

Please note that the Sausalito Art Festival is in the County of Marin and the sales tax is 9% for all sales.
Each Artist is required by State law to file a Sales and Use Tax return with the State of California's Board of Equalization.
Please visit the CA Board of Equalization website for further information.
Please Note: Each Artist is required to send a copy of their filing to the Sausalito Art Festival office once complete. Click here for a sample.
Do not send your Sales & Use Tax return or any payments to the SAF office.
