My images of buildings and/or landscapes exist as metaphors.  Inspiration comes from actual places or from dreams and imagination.  Through an array of self-made and archetypal symbols, the intent is to personally define versus merely reproduce a scene.
I use oil pastel in a distinctive additive/subtractive process over textured black gesso, resulting in a surface of richness and complexity.
